Success can often become a dangerous stumbling block when we allow it to feed our pride rather than our gratitude. Just as disabling a vehicle’s safety features easily leads to a crash, ignoring the boundaries God sets and the warnings of the Holy Spirit inevitably results in spiritual disaster. Remaining humble, obedient, and spiritually alert keeps us from stepping out of the bounds of righteousness into territory that is not ours.
