Everyone gets stuck sometimes—some in the mud, all of us in trespasses and sin—and nothing stuck can ever pull itself out. On a lonely desert road, God placed one willing believer in the path of one searching traveler, and what followed is exactly how salvation happens: a divine appointment, a whispered nudge, a simple explanation of the Word, and a life forever changed and rejoicing.
