The blood of the Passover lamb marked Israel’s deliverance from slavery; Jesus, the spotless Lamb of God, gave His blood to deliver us from sin. The Lord’s Supper remembers His perfect sacrifice and calls us to respond with faith, repentance, and grateful hearts.
